Understand provider charges, CyberRouter credits, and subscription benefits.
Pay for provider usage and the CyberRouter fee
Your provider bills API usage to the provider account connected through BYOK. CyberRouter deducts its service fee from your CyberRouter credit balance. There is no extra per-request flat fee.

New accounts start with data sharing off. You can enable or disable sharing in your profile privacy settings. Sharing reduces the usage fee by 2 percentage points, with a floor of 0%. For example, $1 in provider usage at an 8% fee uses $0.08 in CyberRouter credits. Review the sharing terms and choose the setting that works for you.
A custom account fee can override the plan’s base rate; the sharing reduction then applies to that rate. Your Credits page shows the effective fee for your account.

Three-month plans are paid upfront and issue credits monthly. Unused credits carry over. Plan fee benefits begin with an active paid period and last through that period, including when future renewal is canceled. A checkout selection alone does not activate benefits.
Use the billing-period selector on Credits to compare options. Purchases are available only when checkout is configured; the page shows its current availability.
Credits, holds, and settlement
Before contacting a provider, CyberRouter reserves estimated credits. These holds reduce your available balance. As usage arrives, the gateway settles the fee and releases unused holds. Some providers report usage only after completion, so deduction timing depends on their reporting.
Unknown or interrupted usage can leave a visible hold pending reconciliation. A credit reservation is not a guarantee of the provider’s final bill. See Usage & request history for request-level costs and status.
